Artist Statement

My work is rooted in my own experiences starting from childhood to my break down from spousal abuse and domestic violence. I challenge viewers to stand witness and challenge their world gaze.

To be seen is to be heard. I want my work to be looked at and connect with other people with their own experiences growing up, getting married, and being preyed upon. By continuing to study and experiment with new techniques and material combinations, what results are used to further my narrative pieces.
